A Poem For Mother Earth

Rich black earth on an inward breeze,

Little red ghosts watch from the trees,

Life is special, fragile and tough,

Madre is beautiful, caring and rough,

Respect is needed to carry us through,

Love that starts in me and you.

Inspired by a walk in the woods.
